WHAT IS IN THE BUCKET? This kit is a high-performance multi-component system designed for professional-grade results:

 

1. THE COOLING RESIN: The proprietary heat-reflective resin concentrate, pre-loaded in the 5-gallon application pail.

2. THE ACTIVATOR: The chemical catalyst that ensures a permanent molecular bond to your concrete surface, preventing flaking and peeling.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

THE FULL RESTORATION PROCESS (4-STEP SYSTEM) For a lifetime finish, the following steps must be followed. Please note that Prep and Sealant products are sold separately.

STEP 1: PREP WITH TRIPLECROWN (SOLD SEPARATELY) The most critical step. TripleCrown is a 3-in-1 cleaner, degreaser, and etcher. It opens the pores of the concrete to ensure the COOL! coating becomes part of the deck rather than just sitting on top of it.

• Application: Spray on, scrub, and pressure wash off. Surface must be clean and free of old paint or oil.

STEP 2: MIX YOUR COOL! KIT Once the deck is dry, pour one gallon of exterior acrylic latex paint (your color choice) into the provided 5-gallon pail containing the COOL! Resin and Activator. Mix with a mechanical drill mixer for 3 minutes until uniform. When applying Encore COOL! Pool Deck Coating, always ensure the surface is etched.

STEP 3: APPLY THE COATING Use a 1/2″ or 3/4″ nap roller to apply the first coat. Let dry for 30–60 minutes. Apply the second coat in a perpendicular direction (cross-hatch pattern). This creates the final slip-resistant texture.

STEP 4: FINISH WITH SEALBACK (SOLD SEPARATELY) Protect your investment. SealBack is a nano-acrylic clear sealer specifically engineered to bond with the COOL! system. It protects the color from UV fading and creates a barrier against pool salt, chlorine, and organic staining.

• Application: Apply one thin coat via roller or sprayer 24 hours after the coating has cured.
