Pool Maintenance & Service Agreement: Year-Round Maintenance

1. UNIVERSAL SERVICE STANDARDS & CHEMICAL POLICY: All water chemistry is tested and balanced to Certified Pool Operator (CPO®) professional standards. Standard baseline sanitizing and balancing chemicals (including standard liquid chlorine, chlorine tabs, muriatic acid, and sodium bicarbonate/soda ash) are fully included in your flat-rate service billing. However, specialized, heavy curative, or preventative treatment chemicals are not covered under standard maintenance and will be billed as used based on pool demands. These specialty items include, but are not limited to: Commercial Algaecides, Phosphate Removers, Metal Sequestering Agents, Stain Preventatives, Specialized Clarifiers, Flocculants, and Cyanuric Acid (Stabilizer) bulk re-balancing.
2. BILLING & ACCESS: Flat monthly fees are automatically billed as a recurring payment on the 1st of each month. Client agrees to provide clear, unobstructed access to the pool and all filtration/pumping equipment. All pets must be secured away from the service area on scheduled days. Client is responsible for maintaining the pool water at the mid-tile line between visits.
3. EXCESSIVE DEBRIS & DISPOSAL: Standard maintenance includes up to 15 minutes of skimming/debris removal. If a visit requires additional time due to storms, heavy leaf fall, or neglected landscaping, an Excessive Debris Fee of $50 per half-hour will be applied. All debris will be placed in onsite receptacles; offsite hauling is not included.
4. SERVICE-SPECIFIC TERMS — YEAR-ROUND CARE: This agreement covers 12 months of continuous care. Service structure consists of weekly field runs during active months (May–September) and transitions to bi-weekly or monthly “Winter Watch” service sweeps during off-season periods (October–April) to focus on chemical stabilization and critical freeze protections.🔄 Recurring Payment Schedule: This plan authorizes a continuous, recurring month-to-month billing cycle. Cancellation requires a 30-day written notice prior to the 1st of the upcoming billing month.📅 Routing & Scheduling Notice: We are currently setting up routing optimization profiles for all pool cleaning lines. You will be explicitly notified of the specific day of the week our trucks will visit your property. However, due to daily seasonal workloads, truck positioning, and field dynamics, we cannot guarantee or set a specific, fixed arrival time window for your service day.
5. LIABILITY WAIVER: Newshades PWS is not responsible for pre-existing equipment failure, underground leaks, structural deterioration, or “Acts of God” (storms/flooding). Client assumes all risk for pool use by household members and guests.
